Squawk Squawk - Humility

Today, oh today. I wonder, how many people it takes to do things sometimes. We waited 2hrs for someone to show up to say things we packed were able to be packed away. so we packed things up, then unpacked them, then put them to the side, just so we could pack them up again.  yes, >5.5 hrs later, we were done. Yup, it was a fiasco.. a couple bags took 5.5 hrs to go through.
Why though ? No one wants to step up . We follow the one in front of us. A lot simpler it could have been yet no one wanted to take the lead. Very frustrating, working on something and a bunch of people neither helping but just complaining and making fun of others.

Then I realized I do that also. Hm, brings to mind where Jesus talks about the speck in someone else's eye but a plank in one's own eye.

Matthew 7:3-5
“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

So it is with a heavy heart I say, I sin. the only good thing about me is the most important, that is, God created me. The only praiseworthy thing is that He loves me and all  people and want to have a relationship with them.
It is not without a price, Life. Except it was one life for all lives.


So, before I walk out the door or do anything, I have to remember,  I'm not any better nor some spectacular thing. I'm just like the next person, scared about something, make mistakes, not nearly close to perfect.

So, as for myself, I need to work on this and pray and study how to do these things more. Yet hopefully it is a good reminder to others that, we are all here, no one person has all the answers, I believe only God has the answers.
