Play on words

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

9But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 10That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

I like how it says how when I am weak (paul) then I AM strong.

Ok, Paul is weak (1st I am) but second I am , That is GOD , HE is I AM or that is another name for God . A play on words, cause when we are weak, then GOD , I AM (Exodus 3: 14 ) , can take over and real strength is there . That is where God is glorified since it is certain to Paul and others that it is all God.  This is how it should be for us also, though for me, I struggle with this, because who wants to be weak ? Who wants hardships? Who in the world wants to admit, much less boast about how they are weak? How we perceive things makes a big difference on how we approach them. Just think it's kinda cool the play on words and also the lesson I can learn from it. Weakness doesn't have to be the bottom, it can be a way to show even more God's strength and power. What do you think? I will think more on this, just my thoughts, helps me think out loud.
