When this is not true for myself, then sin has and is seeping into my heart. Today can I say what this verse says? Deep inside can I say Yes, Lord......NO. Not yet, but "knowing is half the battle." (G I Joe the cartoon saying)
The heart breaks, cause I just like less than 5 minutes read this. Then it hit me, one can be all ( in best tv evangelist impression, no offense) " Oh how Holy is the LORD, How good I'm doing here and here! I give to the poor and do all this good stuff (think rich young ruler)" -Yet in this , perhaps the most important aspect ( our decision for why we do these things) I lack. Praise to God for conviction, I'm scared and ashamed that I cannot say Yes, Lord..... with my whole heart, praise God for each day being new and to strive is all I can do, when I fall have to get back up.
Oh God you know our struggles, heal her pain and guide her, save our souls whether our bodies wither. help to give glory to You only and direct others your way.
