2 Kings 4:1-36

Just some notes on these verses, thoughts and so forth oN has to read it to understand what I'm saying:

2 Kings 4:1-7
Widow oil -

-Death -loss of one who revered God and followed Him.
-Creditors taking away - they were in debt.
-Fear, very little
-Simple thing- oil
-Jars-from neighbors
- Oil worked to the last drop.
- The jars were enough to pay off debt and live on
____So God takes a very sad situation horrible situation, and turns it to something amazing

2 Kings 4:8-37
Shunamite's Son

Did something nice for Elisha
Rewarded with a great thing..... a child
Child dies
She lies- not rebuked or was it faith ?
She cries
God hides something from His Prophet.

Was it wrong to just send staff?
Elisha spreads out on child 2x, 7x child sneezes (number 7)
Boy comes back

__So God does alot here, blesses Elisha with the room-a place to go to
-the Woman and husband with a child, a SON, - Great gift for a small yet faithful, loving act
-Then takes the child away- Very sad and rough, God gave me the son now he is taken away.....
Even hidden from Elisha- Confusion, but instead of questioning wants to find out what is
going on rather than focusing on why
-The mother doesn't listen to Elisha to go put staff on the boy ....why ?
- Also,Staff not good enough, why?
- God makes him go to the place, and spread out on child, not once, but 2x, yet the body started to
warm on 1x- Give life for life? what does sneezing have to do rather than the 7x (Number 7) ?

These accounts are taught in Sunday school classes to children, yet these are real adults and people, what can we as adults also learn from this ? These are just some observations, not sure exactly what to think fully.
Just setting it out there.
