A reflection to be

2 Peter 3:8-9

 ⁸ But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. ⁹ The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Patience, forgiveness......words, made by action. We are to follow God's example. Eph. 5:¹ Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children ² and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

 Also, this means opening up to the fact I will hurt  others and others me. Repent, and allow those to repent. This is why we are told to be fools, the world says " do this, only take this much pain then walk away or find another way, person, yada yada...." 

This is not right. Jesus said, "³ So watch yourselves.

   “If your brother or sister^[a] sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. ⁴ Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them."" Luke 17

Oh Father, as the disciples said...." Increase our Faith!"
