He paid it all because we couldn't

Isaiah 53:5-6

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

- Someone paid for you. You were not free.  Men pay their lives everyday for people, their freedom or what they believe in. Why is it so hard to accept?

When we mess up, in jobs, others pay for it. This is saying the same thing. Only difference is this is on a larger scale. Is that so hard to believe? Whatever the reason, thank God for those who paid for my life, for my freedom. Thanks to those who gave what they had to teach me things I have forgotten, shown love when I was never deserving it. Showed what it is to be a man, even when I fail so miserably. Those who stuck with me at my worst to them and just worst I have been at. Thank you. God be praised for mercy and those who willingly gave. Thank God.  All things. Thank You God for having Him take my sins which are countless and Horrid. I'm sorry. thank You.

Hey whether people believe in God, I pray they realize they need help. Someone paid for you.  To God be glory n praise and thanks.

Alas! For it comes for you!!!!!

Luke 6:

Love for Enemies

27 “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29 If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. 30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.
32 “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you?Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. 35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

-I don't care if You never read this again, Dan. This is what it's about.  Love doesn't mean you don't disagree, or you are not at odss with someone. It means, in the end, to heck with the reasons or subject.... it is the person that matters. How can you say you love when you hate your brother, or friend , or the guy who is always trying to give you more work or makes fun of you? That isn;t love, it's not what you get from others, but what you give. When the situaton becomes more important the person, you have lost. The picture says so much. No one sees it as love, but in it's way it is. Love has no boundaries. It is over reason, over situation ... it is.... what are you gonna choose?

Thought this was interesting......

Morning

"Jesus said unto them, If ye seek me, let these go their way."
John 18:8
Mark, my soul, the care which Jesus manifested even in his hour of trial, towards the sheep of his hand! The ruling passion is strong in death. He resigns himself to the enemy, but he interposes a word of power to set his disciples free. As to himself, like a sheep before her shearers he is dumb and opened not his mouth, but for his disciples' sake he speaks with almighty energy. Herein is love, constant, self-forgetting, faithful love. But is there not far more here than is to be found upon the surface? Have we not the very soul and spirit of the atonement in these words? The Good Shepherd lays down his life for the sheep, and pleads that they must therefore go free. The Surety is bound, and justice demands that those for whom he stands a substitute should go their way. In the midst of Egypt's bondage, that voice rings as a word of power, "Let these go their way." Out of slavery of sin and Satan the redeemed must come. In every cell of the dungeons of Despair, the sound is echoed, "Let these go their way," and forth come Despondency and Much-afraid. Satan hears the well-known voice, and lifts his foot from the neck of the fallen; and Death hears it, and the grave opens her gates to let the dead arise. Their way is one of progress, holiness, triumph, glory, and none shall dare to stay them in it. No lion shall be on their way, neither shall any ravenous beast go up thereon. "The hind of the morning" has drawn the cruel hunters upon himself, and now the most timid roes and hinds of the field may graze at perfect peace among the lilies of his loves. The thunder-cloud has burst over the Cross of Calvary, and the pilgrims of Zion shall never be smitten by the bolts of vengeance. Come, my heart, rejoice in the immunity which thy Redeemer has secured thee, and bless his name all the day, and every day.

Each man is an island unto himself......

A writer.... John Donne, wrote a poem titled " No Man Is An Island".

He is wrong. Every man is an island. Like the islands of Hawaii, they make up humanity. But each is one and it's own. It's difficult for me, Dan, to realize that. I always had it one straight way or another. I was raised one way, others are raised another. As life goes on these things even change some. Every man is unique. Like a snowflake, each has it's own specific imprint. Having a brother and all that, you would think we were very alike. We are not.

This difference can be used for good or bad. This why we are to love people, cause we are all weird. I have a tendency to close my door, make sure it is locked, then walk to the outside door and sorta swing it open, then take the 3 steps to my door and check it again to make sure it is locked...... right after I just checked. Weirdo, you are,  every time.

Today I was reminded of that. In a question, once asked to someone, it was asked...."  i c, well what is "showing love" to you then?? "..... the answer for this person is...." showing love to me, is caring for the person deaply and trusting them compleatly. also telling them you love them, and doing things for them or just saying little compliments. also, it might be more in my fam then others, but we sometimes show are love by picking on eachother (yeah we a weird bunch). n being respectful also. and loving the unconditionaly."

Ok, this person is not myself, and they don't have the greatest grammar. Still the answer is easy enough to decipher, Dan. To them, they see showing love as these things. Me, I'm a guy, I'm more touchy feely too.

Also, on my travels, sometimes love was told to me, in being submissive, not walking out on a person, sometimes, well in middle eastern places, it seemed love was just doing as you were told..... though that was taken sometimes way too in a more domineering way. But there were so much diff ways people express love. That is only love..... sheesh.

But before we judge people and decide "Oh they are wrong, they don't know anything. That's not what (whatever word /emotion/action ) means. They are mean and etc......" Well, honestly, just need to shut up and listen and learn. We are each an island, we have to figure out how we fit with each other and realize, we don't own the world nor do we have the "right and only way".

Love is....... encompassing, when focused on others. Gosh I missed that lesson a long time coming. Sorry AE(S?). I messed up. Sorry others too.

Hey, well a real writing...... ahem... cough.... Peace, Love , Blessing......

fail

well, took you almost 3 months to fail, Dan. Dang it, can't blame it on not posting..... You just forgot to post. SO....... for my failure......

so I'm sorry you.

Now for today....  there is a way to happiness and it isn't focusing on it. It is appreciating each breath one has, each moment to walk, each moment in time. Honestly, appreciate the bad, since that is where most of our crucibles happen. Learn from them and realize, "hey, it happened. I can ;earn from it and I was able to experience it and live. " I've seen so many who see the bad (including myself alot) and are just boring, snobs. Happily I'm lessed that it comes out my system less and I work where I do because everyday i see people who are happier than a leprechaun finding it's gold...... people who are sick and lost limbs and so much we take for granted...... smiling. Then I realize, it is a blessing to breath, to live to  have and lose.... it is a blessing to be. James 1 talks about considering pure joy when we experience trials and such, agreed...... May today be not the  last, but the beginning of happiness for you. Peace, Love, Blessing..... on you, her, family , and through out today and if tomorrow comes, tomorrow too.

Alas

Recently, in the news, there was an elderly woman who suffered a medical emergency at a facility/home. A nurse was present and called emergency response. During this time, the Emergency response person talking to nurse told the nurse to start CPR. Guess what, the nurse didn't do it. Citing company policy, the nurse refused to help. It came to the point that the emergency person was begging to have the nurse tell someone off the street to come in and start CPR.  The elderly woman died. I was flabbergasted by the news..... the company stands by the nurse that this is policy, henceforth the nurse was right.

With all our modern medicine and life saving/prolonging techniques, it all comes down to money. No one stands for what is right. If I can save a  life or help it, DO IT. Oh wait, who cares about that, you know, caring for our fellow man..... it comes down to the bottom line, money, lawsuits, etc. Not all the things we do to help someone comes with a medal or award.

There is no reason needed to help another, nor is there a reason to not help in this case. Remember one thing..... we lose our selves when we worry for ourselves above others.

( A story Source : http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2013/03/05/no-cpr-policy-common/1966111/)

May the hearts of our lives be changed. Protection on her and her whole family. My family also. Mercy on our unmerciful selfish selves. Peace, Love, happiness..... blessings....

courage and strength

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” - Joshua 1:9

??????

Well, Dan, you think you are doing ok and then you fall back in it.  Dang, your kryptonite is vanilla.... probably why you breath through your mouth at the mall. Well, walking back from the store to my little room, and as I'm walking through one of the parking lots I cut through and what do I smell.... Vanilla.
Now whenever I have used to smell vanilla, I just close my eyes and it is like euphoria. Then I met her...... well, today I closed my eyes and I saw her. An old memory, happy memory, of a picture.... um walking back from a field where we walked Luke (a dog). and she wrapped arms around me and My goofy smile and her beautiful one. Shortly before I left. I don't know how to feel. I  mean I know how I do, but wow, it almost brought me to my knees. Vanilla good smell......
OK guess random me is done.  Hm, got that missing feeling. Guess I just gotta get over it.... miss.... nvm.

random

Verse of the Day

Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.Psalm 73:25-26 NIV

Scripture to Consider: God Himself Will Provide —Genesis 22:1-14

Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!”
“Here I am,” he replied.
Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.”
Early the next morning Abraham got up and loaded his donkey. He took with him two of his servants and his son Isaac. When he had cut enough wood for the burnt offering, he set out for the place God had told him about. On the third day Abraham looked up and saw the place in the distance. He said to his servants, “Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you.”
Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac, and he himself carried the fire and the knife. As the two of them went on together, Isaac spoke up and said to his father Abraham, “Father?”
“Yes, my son?” Abraham replied.
“The fire and wood are here,” Isaac said, “but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?”
Abraham answered, “God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” And the two of them went on together.
When they reached the place God had told him about, Abraham built an altar there and arranged the wood on it. He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. Then he reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. But the angel of the Lord called out to him from heaven,
“Abraham! Abraham!”
“Here I am,” he replied.
“Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.”
Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.” — Genesis 22:1-14 (NIV) (from http://www.biblegateway.com/blog/)
